I finally did this! I’ve tried several times during the past two years or more that I’ve had this goal on my list, but yesterday was the day I succeeded at last! At some point, when somebody commented on this goal, I thought it was all too ambitious and probably impossible, but since I’m the perfectionist I am I was unwilling to give up.
I’m quite happy that I did this but still I rated it “Not worth doing”. That’s because I had to try so many times and I was frustrated every time I failed. Plus, I was quite stressed yesterday about my project and was afraid all the time that I’d fail again.
So, here’s a list of all the 26 things I did. I:
- got up when my alarm clock went off
- wrote down my dreams
- made my bed
- meditated
- kept my room tidy
- didn’t take a nap in the afternoon
- exercised like I was supposed to
- took out the trash and checked whether there was laundry to do or not
- didn’t spend too much time on the computer
- ate only healthy foods
- didn’t bite my nails
- didn’t poke my nose
- didn’t pick on my skin
- scrubbed my body in the shower and used cold and warm water
- used bodylotion after the shower
- drank a lot of water
- flossed
- steamed my face and used a facial mask
- prepared for tomorrow (packed my bag, chose clothes…)
- was in bed before 10 in the evening
- listened to a relaxation tape
- used handlotion
- took a footbath and used footlotion
- wrote in my diary
- stretched
- read the Bible
It was a lot of things to do, but still they all are things I’d like to be a daily routine. But that would, as I already mentioned, be perfection. But I’ll try to make some of the things a habit.
If this goal and entry gave you any thoughts or opinions, please write a comment! =)
