I went for a day hike on Rainier. The drive from the East route is gorgeous: that is such an amazing mountain!
Going up from Paradise, I crossed several mountanieer on their way down from the summit: the backpacks were huge and heavy, the looked sunburned and completely exhausted… then I wondered: am I really sure I want to do that?Yes, more than ever!
