oops 23 months ago

been eating junk fo rthe past 3 days and gained 21/2 lbs. Getting ready to start the extreme fat smash plan on Saturday for at least 6 weks. Should be good.



post holiday 23 months ago

So of course over break I ate lots of junk and did zero exercise. Just one day into eating right and I have whisked off 2 of the 3 holiday pounds gained. I am at 215 this morning. Taking dance class this morning and going to gym to see about membership status this evening.



doing better 2 years ago

dancing 4 times a week and really working up a sweat. down to 214. food is a huge issue right now with all of the holiday treats around. ughh. my plan for visiting my family from 21st to 27th is this. No sugar. Just avoid the treats entirely. start with a healthy breakfast of cereal(which I will pack) fruit and skim milk. Eat regular meals that include as many veggies as possible. I might need to do some groceries. Bring nuts (almonds ) to snack on (a handful per day. start each day on the treadmill for 30 mins. and take the kids for walks. that should keep any gaining at bay.

I was off to a great start and cut out sugar entirely that was until about a week ago. I have totally fallen off track. Ugh . this time of year is sooooo hard. But back on track now!

after my dr’s appt friday she said we should up the levoxyl by two notches. This should also stimulate more wieght loss. The metformin will stay the same until february at which point we will do bloodwork for blood sugar and a lipid panel. My weight loss goal for this month is 10 lbs. Last month I lost 8 lbs. At the dr’s office I was 218 so I am going with that number. dec 21 will be my goal date.



a lot of changes 2 years ago

since I have last written I have found out that I have prediabetes. SO,I have rededicated myself to this goal. After a weight gain(quick and mysterious)of about 8 lbs (to 236).ANd for a month now I’ve been watching my diet in earnest. I’ve lost about 10 lbs this month alone and am down to 217. It is such hard work but I really don’t have a choioce any more because this is a health issue.
This month’s major goal was to give up sugar and I have done that. I allowed myself sugar at a halloween party and will have some desserts at thanksgiving. Other than that I cheated 3 times. For me that is pretty amazing. Sugar really feels like a drug to me. But it gets better with time.

So today I am 219 lbs down from an all tim ehigh of 236 reached in June. My adjusted goal wieght taking into acoount my age and my hieght (5’6’‘)is 136 pounds for a grand total of 100 lbs.
I will achieve this goal by tracking my food daily and by tracking my daily exercise.
these will be separate goals as well.

TOO MUCH 2 years ago

So two days ago I got on the scale and it read 230 lbs. So that’s it. On friday i will go get a medicne change. THis will help probably right away, to start me in the right direction. next Ii will get a thyriod blood test to see if that dose needs to be adjusted. ALso I am doing a combination of Kimkins and The Easiest Diet Ever. Wlaks in the morning before I go to Sarah’s will be 40 mins. THat should do it for the sumer. I will log my results here.
