to one of my friends last night about wanting to learn how to skateboard – and she admitted to wanting to learn too! So we are going to meet Sunday afternoons at our alma mater (campus is a great place to practice – lots of grass for falling down, smooth sidewalks and some inclines and declines) once daylight savings time begins. By summer we’ll be able to hit the beach boardwalk and look super cute on our boards! :-)
Went to Play It Again Sports in PB and they had an okay selection of used boards . . . I was a little shocked at the prices. I wasn’t expecting to pay more than $100 . . . looks like I will need to work this into my budget.
Yes I am 27 but that doesn’t mean I’m too old to learn how to skateboard, right? First step: buy a longboard skateboard (I think they are easier to get the hang of . . . plus, the short ones are for doing tricks and I’m not interested in learning how to do those . . . I just want to go from Point A to Point B). Second step: Don’t fall!
I’m thinking that I’ll buy one second hand from Play It Again Sports – cheaper!
