A friend has been instigating the formation of a posse for this crazy surfing endeavor. I approve. I think it’s hilarious that I’m not the only one loony enough to think this will be fun. On the east coast. This may happen after all.

oddly enough, have discovered that a couple friends are also interested in surfing – so even though conditions on this coast are questionable, this is looking possible, as well as a source of potential hilarity.
in a documentary about all the places over the world where people just get in the water and surf; and under what circumstances. I was amazed that they tolerate some really cold, fierce conditions in order to surf off the north coast of Donegal in Ireland. No, I’m not kidding: there are whole films of it available online, and apparently there are several guys who go there regularly and are known for it.
There’s hope for me after all. :)
