Reading a lot more!

This year I put my reading on a higher place in my priority list. And it worked! I finished 15 books since january 2007. That’s more than I would read in year. I am trying to read a couple of classics now and then because my education on literature has failed totally in my opinion. In English class in highschool we were only taught the language itself and not its literature. We had to read a few English books ourselves, but we could choose anything we liked. So I will try to continue to fill my gap in knowledge of literature.

Since january I have read the following books:

The time travellers wife – Audrey Niffenegger
The kiteruner – Khaled Hosseini
Special topics in calamity physics – Marisha Pessl
Jane Eyre – Charlotte Bronte
The five people you meet in heaven – Mitch Albom
The Eyre Affair – Jasper Fforde
The secret garden – Frances Hodgson Burnett
So many books so little time – Sara Nelson
The historian – Elisabeth Kostova
One hundred years of solitude – Gabriel Garcia Marquez
The thirteenth tale – Diane Setterfield
The wizard of Oz – Frank L. Baum
The book thief – Markus Zusak
Night – Elie Wiesel
About a boy – Nick Hornby

Currently reading: A prayer for Owen Meany – John Irving,
Slaughterhouse five – Kurt Vonnegut and Wicked – Gregory Maguire.
