London again!

I’m going to London next month. I’ll see my oh-so-dear Bru. I’m not going with P., who wasn’t very happy about it, but I need to go alone.

Loooooondon!

I'm fairly well-paid

to translate a book by a guy I love. I didn’t think I’d be able-I’m still not sure I’ll be. It’s tough. Really tough.
But I’ll do it eventually (“eventually” means mid-August at the very latest). And I’ll be much relieved.

I just booked a table

here for the best meal EVER.
It’s meant as a surprise for my boyfriend, and as a treat for both of us. It will cost me both arms, but I know it will be worth it.

Computer off.

Train.
Countryside.
Four days of rest.

I’m so leaving.

I'm getting...

more responsible? stronger? something, anyway.
I’m taking care of things that would have been way to much for my a few months back.
I’m scared, but I’m doing it.

I can’t be too proud of this.

Great night.

Napoléon, KamIBat, Frodo the Hobbit, One of the Crazy Three, and the infamous Whisky on the Chair. Oh, and the Geekette, of course, and the Closet Straight Guy.

I spent the whole evening talking (and drinking)

with C.C. As far as I’m concerned, he’s a deity. Probably the best translator we have today. He translated the masterpieces of underground literature. He’s bright and sharp. I was in Disneyland.

I love throwing things away.

I’m sorting out my stuff before I move (new home should be ready soon).
Yesterday, with So’s help, I opened all the half of the boxes I left in my mother’s basement ten years ago and threw away LOTS of things. It feels good.
Also, I now know what’s left in the boxes.

Today I bought

a small present for a friend. I’m lucky to know her.

I didn't know whether I'd faint or have an orgasm.

Two yoghurts
125 g chestnut spread (resulting cream must be greyish, not brown)

Some hazelnut
Some raisin

I’m in love.
