Wow. I am pleasantly surprised to see I have already released 42 books through bookcrossing this year.
And it is only June 26th.

My goal for 2007 is to release a lot of the books I received from others that are on my available list. Planning on wild and controlled releases)

The problem is, I’d love to just rabcks them but my income was drastically reduced this month. More than 1/4th! Because our health insurance rate has gone up in my country , the same with the electra. gas, heat and such.

So If you would receive any of the books I am happy to send you but for the first time I have to ask for psotage. sorry about that.

Worse i have been getting books instead of releasing them

3 m-bags are on my way. 2 of those I bought from 2 Ebay sellers. one is traveling, the other one I can just add books and then pay.
and then there are about 50 (aargh) books traveling through sanddanz’s house to me.

so Now i have told myself i am not allowed to get any more books, except for the last book of the dark tower sries.

Well guess what. Today I received a pm that i was the winner of a contest. i thought the winner would receive bookcrossing release thingies but KimKerry is also sending me a book of my wish list :-)

Oops i forgot I was also the Book Relay groupie of this month (August) which means 11 relay friends send you a book 9and some of them send even more then 1)

so I am only rabcking from now on. Not allowed to play in the relays, or even in the relay games swap (which is very ahrd for me)

I am planning on sending a box full of boks to a Dutch bcer who wanted The other Boleyn girl from me. i said OK but then you have to take not only that book but lots more of my hands hahaha

So you can understand that my TBR shelf are now shelves anbd i am talking only about my Bookcrossing books.
(I better not talk about the non BC books, cause that is not 1 shelf, or 2 no, then i am talking about a lot of cupboards

have released 2 others in the wild

this week. 2 Dutch books. books with a detective cat as main character, but translated into Dutch

One at the train station, the other one at the ice man. oops that sounds weird lol Where you can buy ice cream

So far of the 4 books 1 journal entry. and that was on the English book

I need more bookplates or how do you call those things. where you can add the BCID number. I wish my printer worked.
If I get some more of those plates it would be handy to already paste all the bcid numbers in the book, attach the “its free” note on them, with some information on Bookcrossing, so when I am going somewhere I just need to make a release note, nothing more

Yes I did it.
Has been a long time I wild released and it was fun.

The First book I released was a Dutch book ,translation of Sophie’s choice By William Styron. A beautiful Trade paperback.

I got this book on the 30th of april which is a big party day in the Netherlands. Everybody is selling there old stuff.
I was late and lots of people were to tired to take home the stuff they did not sell, so they just left it there.
So I took as many books with me I could carry, books not my taste but I knew if i would not take them they would end up being destroyed

Which is good because I especially bought books on a bootsale to wild release them.

so My goal is to wild release 2 books each week for the next month.

I share a lot but in the beginning of my membership i did much more wild releases. Right now most of them are controlled releases, which is great but I NEED THE SPACE ON MY SHELF :-)
