lol
Let’s see
I ordered on abebooks.co.uk 2 books
The Legacy of Beulah Land (which is part 3 of a trilogy and I knew an M-bag was coming my way with book 2 in it)
Cannibal by Lois Jones.
Very scary true account of The German Cannibal who asked online for someone who wanted to be eaten. The sad and scary part is, Someone responded!!
Finished it in 1 day (although I had to skip a few pages) ;)
Then I ordered for 100 euros on bol.com (A Dutch online store)
2 books for my dad. (Father’s Day):
The English Assassin
The Confessor
2 books for my mom
Silver’s Lure by Anne Kelleher (For her Birthday)
The Winter Rose by Jennifer Donelly (Mother’s Day) Which I want to read myself ;)
1 book for my daughter
Diary Of A Married Call Girl by Tracy Quan (She loved book 1)
She managed to promote to the next (last) class so I had a good excuse to give it to her.
Books for myself:
To Sleep with the Angels a Story of a Fire by David Cowan
The Vanishing Point By Mary Sharratt
Isaac’s Storm: A Man, a Time, and the Deadliest Hurricane in History by Erik Larson
Under the Bridge by Rebecca Godfrey
I’ve read some of the books already
Isaac’s Storm which was very good and under the Bridge which was awesome.

Everytime I go here I hope to see journal entries from other people. Find out which books they bought but it seems I am the only one.
I am going to try and invite some bookaddicts to this “goal” so I don’t feel so guilty :P
About my last entry. I managed to swap Glamour by louise Bagshawe for Helen of Troy from Margaret George.
I think I did a good job. :)

This week I decided to check the local bookstore. Its the only one around here that sells English books.
With my 5 euro coupon in hand (my daughter gave that to me for Mother’s Day) I visited the shop.
I bought one book of my wish list.
The Observations by Jane Harris and because I could not decide which of the 2 books I wanted I also bought the latest? by Louise Bagshawe: Glamour.
To be honest, I could not really afford to buy both, stupid me.:)
Anyways when I came home I checked amazon.co.uk and discovered 3 very bad reviews on Glamour so I am thinking of bringing it back. Have to hurry though and order a book. They don´t have much choice but you can order books at that store.
The Observations does have great reviews so after I’ve finished reading my last Marian keyes book (Angels) I think I am going to give that a try.

I loved Rachel’s Holiday and liked 2 other books written by M. Keyes. When I discovered she had written more books about The Walsh sisters I was searching to buy them online, preferably secondhand.
Then out of the blue, on the verge of buying, I received a rabck from giz-angel (through bookcrossing) Anybody out There which is the latest book of this series.
So this gave me a reason to treat myself and I was lucky to be able to buy Watermelon secondhand.
Great book!

which I’d forgotten to write down here:
This time I ordered them at proxis. A Dutch, Belgium online store. (4 in total and have read them all now)
*Evil Eyes by Corey Mitchell
*Every Move you Make by M. Williams Phelps
*Bestial by Harold Schechter
*A Beautiful Child by Matt Birkbeck
4 True Crime books again. The last 2 were the best of the 4.
I especially recommend A Beautiful Child although it is a very sad story, it is very well written and it grabs you from page 1 till the last page.

I had a coupon left worth 10 euros. This weekend you don’t have to pay shipping costs in the Dutch online store. bol.com so I thought wth, lets treat myself.
True crime
The twisted true story of sadistic sexual predator Joseph W. Brown, who indulged in a seven-state rampage of torture and murder, killing 14 women in cold blood from 1997 to 2003.
(Yes I know, I admit to having a weird taste (blush)
