DH is doing Pilates pretty faithfully, and I’ve watched him a few times as he works out to a DVD. I’ve done it along with him a time or two now as well, and have learned a lot about proper form from watching his progress. I’m amazed at how fast it’s had an effect on him!

—and I do mean slowly.
On vacation with the family, I started doing a little PIlates along with Jim (DH). We have an advanced Mari Winsor video, and we’re using that. It’s kicking our butts, and we’re not even doing the whole workout!
I’ve also started listening to an exercise-more hypnosis tape. I’ve done the tape three times. I might be exercising a teeny bit more, but I have a feeling the tape is not actually being all that effective. I know I’m susceptible to hypnosis in general, so perhaps I need a different tape.
Well, I’ve done Step One: I borrowed a Pilates VHS tape from a girlfriend. Jim says he’ll learn it with me, which will help motivate me (I hope).
