Turn backyard/patio into a private sanctuary

I was sitting on the back porch on the laptop. Every once and awhile I’d look over and wonder what ground covering I’d like to put in…. The top ideas where: Sage, Rosemary, Lavender, and flower I don’t know the name of… Well, as I was working, I heard something flutter and saw what might have been a large leaf dance onto the porch. When I walked over to look, however, it turned out to be a full, unopened package of Rosemary seeds!!! ... Incredible!

In SoCal? Lame. Haven’t been back outside to enjoy the patio in awhile. But the “sun’ll come out… Tomorrow!”

Swept a few leaves away, and then spent most of the day outside today! Brought the laptop and the husband out with me. hehe! Made some major decisions, and discussed other ones. Added more things to 43 things, and just enjoyed the sunshine!! Can’t wait to do it again tomorrow!

Wondering what kind of ground-cover to put by the patio. Thinking of Lavender, Sage or Rosemary….

[X] New Patio Furniture assembled and up.
[X] Centerpieces in place
[X] Candles placed
[X] Aloe planted
[X] Palm trees planted
[X] Bushes maintained
[X} Chimes Hung
[X] Ivy Started
[X] Basil started
[X] Tomatoes started
[X] Frosted Glass bamboo-design 1/3rd done

TO DO
[] Plant flowers
[] Purchase and/or start other flowers
[] Re-plant Basil, Tomatoes and Ivy when ready
[] Find a way to keep flies away from patio
[] Set day of the week to sweep spiders away
[] Mount decorations
[] Find out why bucket-ed flowers are dying. Save the ones left.
[] Humingbird Feeder!
[] Add extra lighting. Solar?
