YES! I have done it. The magical formula for me: set an earlier alarm! Tada! But okay, so it hasn’t been perfect. My goal was to get up by 5:45am, and Monday it was at 5:50. Tuesday – not so great, because our baby girl decided to wake up at 4:30 so it totally threw me off and I overslept until 6:20. BUT, this morning – I was up by 5:50 again! I don’t think 5 minutes later than the goal is so bad. Point is, I DID get up earlier, was not in as much of a rush, and just plain felt good about it.
Seriously. I just DO NOT understand what is SO difficult about getting up only 15 or 20 minutes earlier, so I can avoid that stressful rush that seems so inevitable every single morning before work. I just do not believe I am going to miss those very few extra minutes. I have yet to figure out what is so difficult about this. Monday morning – 5:45am. I intend to be getting out of that cozy, soft, pillow-laden, magnetically warm bed. :/ I can do this!!
