Extend Egg Nog Season

I’ve decided that a small crack in the tyrany that is the restriction of egg nog might be made by getting people to serve it at their superbowl parties – and thus encourage the distributors to extend how long they make it available in the stores.

In other news – I have aquired a few recipes for egg nog to extend my personal egg nog season.

Yea, though I walk through dairy isle,
I shall fear no soy products.

For mine is the Nog,
with the Rum and the Nutmeg.

I haven’t seen it in the store yet – and it’s November… Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away and I have YET to taste the nog.

And that’s all I have to say about that.

Once again I am deprived of the Nog.

I hear thee, those who say I can make my own nog – and I say to thee, “Yeah to thee who would have me make my own nog – shall I churn my own butter and milk my cow which I do not have? NAY! And NAY again, and let me say it brings me to the BRINK of using multiple exclamation points, but I shal not sink to that level – nor shal I nog my own eggs.”

Yeah though I enter into the valley of nog, I shall fear no evil.

For I am the biggest nog in the valley.

Once again we enter into the blissfull moment that is egg nog season. Would not that we could partake of it’s caloric beauty every moment of every day.

I say this to thee, the arbritrators of the time of nog – you’re time is short – and we shall have nog all the time.

Sitting on the piano bench playing “Alice’s Restaurant” and drinking a big jug of egg nog… now THATS thanksgiving. (Would have been better if I had a group W bench instead of the piano bench)

Guy at the store doing samples today… I got a sample, then a 1/2 gallon. MMMMmmm… nog. Trying to get the kids hooked on it too.

Why are we only allowed to buy Egg Nog from November to December? It’s more evil than daylight savings. I believe every child, woman and man in this country should be allowed to enjoy the benifits of a tall glass of egg nog no matter what the season.
