make a close, lifelong friend

i’m pretty sure i’ve got very close friends who know and support my goals in life, and no matter what paths we end up taking and no matter how many years we may end up seperating we will always be able to be there for one another :)

sometimes i feel guilty for not working at my friendships harder, but things like school buddies i just can’t see lasting ‘lifelong’. i’m not unpopular but i don’t really have that one group or niche which i’m happy to stick with for longer than a few days, so sometimes being a social butterfly is a hindrance because you either get trapped in a glass jar; or gassed and pinned to a board to be framed :| hmm i will ponder this ,i think i just have to work out who i am more and where i really want to be.
