Wonderful! I love this book for the writer’s ability to enliven life in the small Bangladeshi village of Talukpur – It’s all just very interesting. The culture, people, the lives, the adaption of habits, the western (often conflicting) moralities. Should read more books like this. (read it for my coming anthropology course)

Third book. It’s interesting…
To read about the total destruction of a woman and her close family. The destructiveness of her mind. The clash between reality and illusions. Hmm.
Second book of my break:) I loved it, though I had already seen the movie (by accident). I should read it again – the combination of lightness and heaviness is great. I love the philosophy in it.
So far, read one; Emma by Jane Austen.
Just 9 more to go…
It was a nice book. Very readable, very easy reading. I liked it, though I prefer Pride and Prejudice.
