Oh my word. I put this on the laptop and watched it in the kitchen while I made last nights supper. The sound track is awesome!

I really liked this movie. I thought it was well directed and had a great script also. There were times I had to ask Ship to tell me what they just said because I couldn’t hear it very well.

One thing bothered me though and that is, I thought they should have filmed in more than one season. The whole movie seems to be shot in the Fall so it just seemed like Scotland is perpetually in an Autumn state.
BELLA is a true love story about how one day in New York City changed three people forever.
I was a little confused at the end of the movie because they never really explained where the girl went all those years or why.
I liked the film and I would recommend it!

Ship got to sit in bed and watch a movie with me last night! I’m not sure what homework he skipped to do so but it was nice.
We watched Merry Christmas (2005) Joyeux Noel. It was a great film.
Inspired by a true story, this heartwarming tale unfolds on Christmas Eve, 1914, in the midst of World War I. As the French, Scottish and German soldiers prepare to open their presents, a momentous event occurs that changes the destinies of four people: an Anglican priest, a French lieutenant, a world-class tenor and his soprano lover.
We all went to see this movie together today before dinner. Ship had tears because he was feeling the same way I was about looking over at the baby sitting in her own seat between us holding her tiny bag of popcorn with both hands and huge eyes glowing from the light of the screen in front of us. It was an emotional sight. The movie itself was mind numbingly boring for Ship and I but we endured it happily for the kids!
Hmm, how do I say this…
Ship, The Boy, Daughter 1, Daughter 2, and myself watched this late last night. Umm,... It is inappropriately funny. At one point Ship asked Daughter 2 if her ears were burning yet.
It was hard to laugh at some things that were funny because I could only wince in mental anguish knowing that my sweet little girls heard the same things. (14 and 12, yes they are still my little girls)
We made popcorn and we talked about the movie as we watched it. I sure do hope they remember what I told them, that people don’t really talk that way.
P.S. Robert Downey! /swoon

I watched this today while working on a colored pencil project during the baby’s nap time. I was left with the thought that I still don’t really know what the movie is about.
Blah
I just watched this here at the kitchen table while cutting out more fabric for my fish. The movie was corny and had a lot of drama going on but the scenes were beautiful, even on my laptop. Ship got t see the first half of it too so that’s a plus.
This move was longer then I expected. It was very worth staying up late for though.
Now if The Mr. could have a free 3 hours to watch it. Maybe some day. Although maybe watching movies through osmosis works like when you sleep with a book under your pillow… lol.. yep he snored through it but that’s OK, he has to get up for work.

I watched this today while drawing at the kitchen table.
I like the film a lot. The strength the woman has to survive and overcome is inspiring.
