finish my cd

I sincerely didn’t realize how lengthy a process this was going to be. Especially since my producer has two jobs and two other projects he’s working on. But I’m hanging in there. I have a dilemma now because the tracks I thought I liked, I don’t like anymore and the poems I’d selected, I’m not sure if I want to do them anymore. I’ve been creatively blocked for at least, I dunno, four months. I try to write something each week; a blog, an entry, anything to keep my brain active. Last night I came up with a decent hook, so maybe I’m opening up.(fingers crossed.)

We just finished another track for the CD…I’m very happy about that even though these are scratch tracks and we still have to go into the studio I feel like were getting a lot done. I have material for the next CD too. Did I mention this is a spoken word CD?...I’m very happy!

I was starting to get a little discouraged but though the progress is slow, I am closer to being finish with the book and the CD..yey!
