So I just got my braces off ($5000 later) and my orthodontist said that if I don’t get my wisdom teeth (all 4) taken out all the orthodontic work will have been for nothing. That somehow isn’t enough motivation to get me to go in to the oral surgeon and get them removed. I’m terrified. I’ve never been “under”. I don’t like the idea of not being in control. It scares me to death to think about being knocked out on a table and getting my gums cut into. I really love my smile though and I don’t want to lose it.
