New alarm 3 years ago

I got a new alarm clock. It’s one of the ones with 2 bells on the top and a hammer between them that goings fucking crazy when it’s time to get up. I think the intention is to scare you out of bed. So far, it’s working.

I’ve been doing better at this. I still hit the snooze button more often than I should, but I’m improving. Hopefully I’ll get to the point where I don’t hit snooze at all! Unlikely.

So, that didn’t happen at all today. I’m not really sure what happened, but I got up WAY later than I should have. Like more than an hour. Oops.



Getting better... 3 years ago

So I’ve been much better about waking up closer to “on time” lately. I can’t say that I don’t hit the snooze button a couple of times before actually pulling my half-dead body out of the bed, but it’s definitely getting better. But here’s the thing: I moved the furniture in my bedroom around, and now I’m having trouble getting up again. Has anyone else ever had that happen? I don’t really know why it’s happening. Crazy.

Man! I just don’t understand how some people pop out of bed the first time the alarm goes off! I’m pretty sure that I could push snooze enough times to miss an entire day of work. I’m going to keep trying though. I haven’t been late to work due to oversleeping in quite a while. I’ve basically just gotten better at rushing through things in the morning.

Bah!
