write a story or novel in each of six different genres

It seems to me like a lot of writers limit themselves by writing only in one particular genre. I hate any thought of self-limitation, so I’d like to try exploring different genres. I mostly write in the fantasy vein, so I’ve decided to pick six other genres of fiction to try and expand upon, though a couple might be considered more of sub-genres than anything else.

1.) Science Fiction – Cyberpunk
2.) Science Fiction – Steampunk
3.) Romance
4.) Horror
5.) “Teen Fiction”
6.) Historical
