43 Things: Quilt.

I’ve always wanted to learn at least the basics. My ex-husband’s mother makes quilts and a while ago she gave me a very helpful book to learn from. Like most things, however, I need to actually be shown how to do something to pick it up well.
Last week I asked a few of my neighbors if they’d be interested in starting a quilting circle. One of them can quilt and she is willing to show the rest of us how to do it; we can all work on a project together once we get set up with the supplies and such. I’m very excited about this – we are thinking of meeting once a week. It will help fill up the winter days for sure.
