I made blackberry cobbler for the first time and it was super easy! There was a recipe on the back of a pack of frozen blackberries, and I just added Cinnamon, nutmeg and ground cloves. I served it with French vanilla ice cream. The houses smelled yummy, and are tummies were full!

I tried to make homemade cinammon buns from scratch….it was bad. It took all day, as I waited for the douch to rise (and it didn’t). I followed the recipe exactly, but later my hubby said the yeast had to be at a specific degree to activate, and I guess it wasn’t. I just thought the yeast had some infection (ha ha ha) Anyway, the filling and the icing were good, the bread (actually baking part) not so much. It made me really sad, and I don’t think I will use yeast again.
