Treadclimber 10 months ago

I did 30 min on the treadclimber today. 2 miles, 475 calories.
I need to keep it up.



Snow Shoeing 11 months ago

I went snow shoeing yesterday. I figure we have all of this snow so I might as well try to enjoy it. It was fun and a good cardio workout. One thing I learned though, don’t try to walk backwards with snowshoes. I fell right on my ass! :)



Joined a gym, 11 months ago

I joined a gym this fall. I try to go to it every day or at least every other day. I’ve been doing 30 minutes on the tread walker and using the machines every other day for strength training. I feel quire a bit better and I’m sleeping a lot better.

I went for a 12 mile bike ride on the local bike trail. I need to do that more often.



My left arm 1 year ago

got plenty of exercise this past weekend. Those beer mugs really get heavy! I was really doing research on another of my goals, “find the perfect beer”.



Walking 1 year ago

I’m walking at least 2 miles a day now. And I hope to increase that as the weather gets nicer and I get into better shape. At first it seemed like a chore but now I look forward to my walk every day.



BIKING 1 year ago

The weather was nice this weekend so I decided to take a bike ride. I put the new bike rack that I got for my birthday on my car and went to a nearby bike path. I rode for about an hour which was just about right for my first ride of the season. I’ve also been trying to walk at least 2 miles a day. Hopefully this will help in my “lose weight” goal.



Barbells 1 year ago

I purchased some barbells and I’m now using them at least every other day. As I get used to the weight, I plan on getting heavier ones. This should help in my overall exercise program.



Hikes 1 year ago

The weather here in Massachusetts has been very mild so far and I’ve been able to go hiking quite a bit. The past 2 weekends I hiked a local mountain. It’s not that high or steep but it still gives me a good workout.



New bike 2 years ago

I purchased a new bike this weekend that should help with this goal. I’m going to try to ride it every day even if it’s for a short ride.
