take a vacation

Today I took Jack to my friend’s house and set out for Virginia. I made my way up with good time and three stops and met my friends on Skyline Drive. We got a motel room in Waynesboro, VA, and then had dinner at Stotto’s in Staunton. We stayed in Staunton to watch the fireworks, then we went back and crashed.

Today I prepared for my vacation by cleaning, doing laundry, having lunch with my mother, and collecting Jack’s things for his stay with a friend of mine. Later I went out with my friend Cody to Chicora Alley and had…several beers.

Today I hung around Rockerboy’s house and took his son to get fro-yo at Yoforia. We went to an early dinner at Figo. I then returned to Greenville, hung out with my mom, and went to bed early for some MUCH needed rest.

Today I worked until 1:30 and then felt the sweetest release of tension because I was officially on holiday. Rockerboy wanted me to come to Atlanta, so I came down and spent the night. Saw the Forty-Fives at the EARL.
