Questions 31-40

31.At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?
I haven’t had such an experience yet.

32.If not now, then when?
When you’re feeling ready.

33.If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose?
Nothing, but there are some obstacles I have yet to overcome.

34.Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?
No, not yet. Maybe sometime in the future? 

35.Why do religions that support love cause so many wars?
Because they know no other way of making other people listen to them. They only very-well-known human way of making others listen is violence. Sometimes the religions resort to violence because they want others to believe, even though the “others” just don’t want to believe. In my opinion, no one should resort to violence.

36.Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil?
No, because something that is considered “good” by someone may be considered “evil” by someone else. There are many opinions as to what is “good” and what is “evil”, but is it up to the individual to decide for himself/herself what they consider “good” and what “evil”.

37.If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?
I don’t have a job, but if I had, I don’t think I would quit it if I really enjoyed it. However, if I did that job just for the money, of course I would quit it.

38.Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?
I would rather have more work I enjoy doing.

39.Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before?
Not really. Today was a pretty good day.

40.When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in?
First of all, I don’t understand the question. Is it like, metaphorically speaking? Either way, this hasn’t happened to me, that’s for sure.

NOTE: LAST PART OF MY ANSWERS WILL BE IN MY “HOW I DID ITENTRY

Questions 21-30

21.Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?
I would rather be a joyful simpleton, because in my opinion joy is better than intelligence.

22.Why are you, you?
Because that’s who I was brought up to be.

23.Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend?
So far, yes. I am a good listener and I always lend a hand when it’s needed.

24.Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you?
I wouldn’t ever lose touch with a friend that lived near me, unless there was a very serious reason (such as not being friends anymore). So, it would be worse to have a good friend that I have shared happy memories with move away, while we’re still friends.

25.What are you most grateful for?
Being healthy and strong, having a loving, understanding and supporting mother (as opposed to an indifferent father) and having a best friend to whom I can confess anything and know she’ll never tell anyone about it.

26.Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?
I don’t know. Either way, it would be very painful. However, I dare say that it would be worse not to be able to make new memories. The past is the past, and it’s gone. No matter how many happy memories you’ve had, there are some unhappy ones in there too, that can keep haunting you for the rest of your life. You don’t know what the future will bring, so you had better be able to keep your new memories. Without being able to remember the previous day, it’s like you’re stuck in the past. And that’s just not any good.

27.Is is possible to know the truth without challenging it first?
No, it is not. The “truth” would not be “true” if we didn’t check whether it was or was not “true” first.

28.Has your greatest fear ever come true?
Thank God, no.

29.Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now?
Yes, I remember. It doesn’t REALLY matter now, but I’ve been regretting it ever since then. It feels awful.

30.What is your happiest childhood memory? What makes it so special?
Hm, I would have to go with my first going to the cinema (I saw “Harry Potter and the Sorcecer’s Stone”). Well, it was a “first time”, that’s why it was special! (To be frank, I don’t really have any happy childhood memories other than this-I hated and still hate my childhood)

Questions 11-20

11.You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do?
I stand up for my friend. No matter what.

12.If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?
Always and forever, think for yourself.

13.Would you break the law to save a loved one?
If there was nothing else left to do, yes.

14.Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?
Yes, every day.

15.What’s something you know you do differently than most people?
I forgive very, very easily. I cannot stay angry for long.

16.How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?
Because there doesn’t exist another person that likes exactly the same things as me. Neither does “everyone”.

17.What one thing have you not done that you really want to do? What’s holding you back?
I would like to travel more, but I can’t because of money issues and lack of company. (I don’t want to travel alone, I would like someone to share my experiences with)

18.Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
Yes. I refuse to leave my childhood behind and “grow up”.

19.If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?
I would move to England, because I can speak the language well, and it’s a place where many of my favourite music subcultures have been born, and there are also many concerts held there.

20.Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?
No, I never do that. It cannot possibly make the elevator go faster, once is enough.

Questions 1-10

1.How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
I would either be exactly the age I am now (17) because I am young and I have my whole life full of possibilities in front of me, or a bit older, such as 20, so as to have some more experience.

2.Which is worse, failing or never trying?
Never trying is much, much worse than failing. If you don’t try, how can you possibly know whether you’ll fail or not?

3.If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
We do things we don’t want to because we have to, or someone else pushes us into it. We like many things we don’t do because it’s perfectly human to want what you cannot have.

4.When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
I hope so. Actions are better than words.

5.What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
I would throw all the politicians in jail and either put people that would do much more, or let the public make the decisions. If I didn’t do that, I would erase poverty, starvation, and child labour from Third World countries. (Yes, I am aware that is kind of a cliché, but such things, I really hate them happening)

6.If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
That would be the job of a doctor. I can’t imagine anything better than saving someone’s life, and them thanking you afterwards.

7.Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
Whenever I strongly believe in something, I do whatever I can to stand up for it. I try not to settle and/or compromise.

8.If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
I think I would try to do more things I want every day, like travelling and such. We already know that life is short… but dying at 40 years of age is even SHORTER.

9.To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?
I haven’t really been controlling my life up until now. My parents have mostly been doing that. Lately, however, I’ve been making decisions of my own (yes, that sounds awfully teenage-y), so I’ll give me a 40% of my controlling my life.

10.Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
I am more worried about doing things right. Sometimes, the things you think are right may be wrong for other people, so “right things” are not the same for everyone.

I am...

...Currently on question number 20. I think these questions have helped me think differently about some things in life ALREADY. I feel nice :)

I am going to answer these soon.

To be frank, the very FIRST question is the one that puzzles me the most. I am still too young to know. Maybe I should leave that question aside and answer the others first?
