the reason i havent managed to finish romeo n juliet is that sometimes i jus dont get the language n i dun understand what happening. unlike some luck few, i lack the ability to skip the stuff i don’t understand and move on. i get stuck on lil phrases or sentences or words and the webster’s isnt any help. dyu know of a shakespearean dictionary ny1?

i’m very enamored by shakespeare n the whole Elizabethan style of writing n all but i have never actually read any of shakespeare’s plays from start to finish. i’ve read abridged versions and excerpts and the rest but i’m not as knowledgeable on the subject as i should like to be. my friends and i had a shakespeare club called WIN (What’s In a Name?) i dunno whether to call it a book club or a fan club or what.. we begun with romeo n juliet n did some exercises suggested in the cambridge edition n read a couple o pieces from macbeth n hamlet but we didnt really have any direction.. it fizzled out in about 6 months and i was heartbroken. after that i picked up romeo and juliet but never reached the end. i always put it down halfway and when i get back i start over from the beginning so i still dunno what the end sounds like. even if i dont manage to read all the bard’s plays i intend to finish romeo and juliet by the time i’m 21 (hopefully)
