I did it!

This is either my 3rd or 4th fast and I believe this one has been one of the most successful. I Started Thursday eating just vegetables, and the next three days I contained myself to 2 cups of fresh juice, a cup of tea, and lots and lots of water per day. Currently I’m slowly building myself back up to food. I had a couple pieces of fruit, and may try some brown rice tomorrow.

I limited myself from the Internet and TV as well. I found this helped tremendously as it allowed me more time to go on walks and read.

I think I may offer up a write up on what seems to work for me later on if people are interested.



I start tomorrow...

Sometimes when I feel so caught up in this big ol’ goofy world, I feel I need to sit back and reexamine my present situation. What better time to do this than before the New Year begins.

I will be juice fasting as it seems to be the safest and most beneficial from what I have read. Along with that I will fast from media as well, TV and the internet. Sometimes I get so caught up in what can only be described as a tidal wave called society. It’s hard step back and focus on the things that make me happy.

The main thing I hope to accomplish during this fast is self reflection. A review of my year. Things I did well, things I can improve on. Where I want to be going. And am I heading there now?

Things to look forward to during the fast.
Long nature walks. Good books to read. A clear mind.
