Wait until marriage

I made a promise to God that i would remain a virgin until marriage. I don’t have a boyfriend yet. I’ve been through so much and emotionally, i don’t think i could handle sex without being married. God wants us to have one partner forever. Sex is the highest level to intimacy. Think about it. When two people have sex they become ‘one flesh’. Can you imagine that amazing experience on your wedding night? We will become ‘one’ and that bond will be sooo strong. Imagine becoming one flesh with someone you wont spend the rest of your life with. It’s really hard for me to get over something and i don’t think i could deal with that emotional pain. I think this is an amazing goal.

My pledge : ‘I make a commitment to God, myself, my family, those I date and my future mate to be sexually pure until the day i enter a marriage relationship. I will keep my thoughts pure as i trust in God’s perfect plan for my life.’

It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his/her own body in a way that is holy and honorable.” 1 Thess 4:3-4

It’s going to be really difficult but i know we all can do it!!!!
