Booyah

Everyday there is less grip over me. It has been a long 3 years, but I am myself. My journey to rediscover myself turned out to be a journey to discover the person I would become. I have not forgotten the accident, but it has forgotten me.

Truckin along

Everyday, just keep trucking

reflection

You know, I look at who I am now and it’s hard for me to remember who I was before. As if I am a faint memory to myself. That person I miss dearly as if someone whom I care greatly for has died. He was someone always filled with laughter, happiness, spontaneity, and endless energy.

He still sort of exists but not to the point of living that he had. I am what I am now, not who I was before.

But last night, I got to be myself again for around 15 minutes. Just from playing with an auto-tuner and jamming out I was reserected. That person I clinged to and enjoyed as if raised from the dead. Then I said goodbye, only to long to find him again.

Maybe, I can be him again. I have hope.

Days come and Go

Day by day I have to take it. I’ve learned that I can’t change yesterday and tomorrow may never come. So I chose to live in this day and take it step by step. My road is long but I hold no fear for my God is with me always “even unto the end of the age.”
