In May I finished paying off ALL of my debt – even looked up my credit report and took care of some accounts I’d forgotten I had. So now it’s time to start rebuilding my crap credit. My report in May said it was 520, which is reeeeaally bad, and I can’t even get new cell phone without paying hundreds of dollars for a deposit.
I took a big step towards this goal today, when I sent paperwork and a check to the bank that already agreed to give me a credit card (in exchange for obscene annual fees). Hopefully I’ll get my card and they’ll start reporting my fabulous, responsible consumer behavior within the month.
