Over spring break I visited my sister and we were talking about how in law school, she ate super healthy and looked really fit. I told her that I can’t wait to live on my own (currently living in a dorm) so that I could better control what types of things I eat. I’d probably eat more sugar-free, fat-free stuff, and fewer bad carbs/starches. She told me that she had to work REALLY hard at controlling her food intake for it to make any difference, and that if I’m as skinny as I am right now just naturally, I should seriously just be happy. Becoming overfocused on what I eat is going to drive me nuts and only make a marginal impact, apparently.
Anyway, I’m pretty skinny naturally, especially in the parts that I think are important, like my waist. So this goal is not really a priority of mine anymore.
