Maria has written 1 entry about this goal

It's been 8 months since cutting it oh so SHORT! ...

...and it still havent reached my shoulders properly. At times i’m getting really frustrated and sick of waiting, but then i forget about it for a while and after that i’m able to see the progress.
But i have to admit, my hair has always been slow at growing.
I used to have long naturally dark chocolate brown hair that reached my waist, and it looked healthy, shiny and enchanting.
But along came puberty, and the urge to turn everything upside down was irresistable. So i cut it chin-short, dyed it red. People said it fits my face better, and i belived that. I actually felt like a different person, i did a lot of courageous things with short hair :))))) So i wore it like that for 2 years, when it suddenly hit me: I WANT LONG HAIR AGAIN. I’m not the rebel anymore, i’m the romantic soul now. It took me another 2 years, but it grew and looked great.
And after a few months of joy…it happened again. I just had to cut it. I was going through a hard break up, i needed some space, some fresh air. Stupid i know, but it actually made me feel better.
So my last big cut was 8 months ago, since then i’m just trimming it for split ends, and hoping it grows past my shoulders soon, that’s good enough for now.
