I recently questioned what the point of life was if there’s so much pain that you can experience. My intention here wasn’t to disrespect the Lord. I was just wondering why pain, more especially emotional pain, exists. Why? Who benefits from experienceing pain? And if the answer to that is that lessons are learnt from experiencing pain, why is that? Why can’t we learn the lessons of life without having to experience pain? Pain doesn’t bring a smile to anyone’s face.
