This cat tree was finished several months ago so I can’t remember all of the details, but it took me about a week to come up with a design, another week or so to gather the materials, and another week and a half (because we didn’t work on it daily) to actually put the tree together. It stands probably 7 feet tall (that’s just a guess, because I’m short ;) and is mostly carpeted, parts of it wrapped with sisal, some fun green “grass” carpet on the bottom, and detailed with bamboo mats that I found at a dollar store. The crowning glory is, of course, our own homemade cat hut at the top, with bamboo exterior and roof :) Racer looooves it, even to this day! I hope he enjoys it for at least a few more years, since I know how quickly cats can get tired of playthings :)
