Still at 151

Or, if we want to believe my wiifit, I’m 148. I like the Wii’s version, but my nonexistant waistline is the harsh reality. However, by using Fit, it’ll at least give me a boost to do something.
And that something does not involve getting the last 45% to level 80.
Anyway, strength training, yoga basics, and miniaerobic games for half an hour is more than what I was doing before. My aching thighs and butt are testament to movement.
My diet’s failed a little in the past week or so, that could explain the stagnation, since I was doing well at keeping track of what I’ve been eating. School starts in three weeks, so I think I’ve given up, since I know I do much better when I’m on campus, and there’s walking, a free rec center, less food temptation. Easier to keep to a healthy menu, too, if I’m buying and cooking for myself.

Not fun.
Calories are down, so far as I know. We definitely haven’t be eating out as much, so it’s easier to keep track of calories and portions. Again, my down-fall is probably the sauces, condiments, and mayonnaise.
We did a lot of cleaning today around the house, so did expend some of my energy. According to mypyramid, it was over 600 calories, but I highly doubt that as I barely did that much in an hour of working out at the rec center. Either way, it’s more than yesterday.

And I realize this is because I have not gotten off my fat ass and done anything seriously cardio-like, or exercisey.
I am, however, counting calories, and would like to keep my daily count at 1500 per day. Considering breakfast (at noon) was just under 500 calories (according to mypyramidtracker.gov) I think I’m on the right track, eat larger at breakfast, and then smaller as the day goes on, and you’re expending less.
On the exercise front, I looked up times at the TCC fitness center, and on Chris’s recommendation I think I’ll use it. It’s a bit far away, but I figure if I can talk previously mention boyfriend into going with me, it would probably be worth it, and is indeed a halfway point between our houses, and I’m usually the one driving. The only unfortunate thing is I really really really feel like working out today, but it’s closed on Fridays and weekends.
Off to act like I want to accomplish this goal….

That is rage. Lots and Lots of rage.
Cleaned a lot yesterday. Got some extra-curricular exercise earlier today.
Weight was 149 at 8pm last night.
Weight was 150 at 11am when I woke up this morning.
A diet of Nothing Different plus Condiments.

Not much of a better day. Not so much on the exercise, and probably just as bad on the food. But! I’ve found a website with recipes and the calories-per-serving are counted out already, and a lot of it is easy, and sounds tasty, so do-able for the whole family, which makes this even easier on me when we’re all eating healthy. Fact.
Weight (Today): 148.7
Exercise (Yesterday): lifting boxes (light-med weight), up-down stairs, standing for ironing (~1hr)
Diet (Yesterday): tea, 1 hot dog, mac&cheese, 2 crab rangoons, 2 spring rolls, noodles w/butter and brown gravy, 1 small lean pork chop, water. Lots of water.
(Yesterday was better. Calorie count not so good, but it still seemed better)

This probably happens within the first couple weeks after coming home: I gain at least ten pounds while at home. I cringe to think of what weill happen this December after I graduate and I’m home for good (mostly). I eat a little bit more, a lot heavier type stuff, and stop moving all together.
Yoga clearly didn’t pan out when I first noted it in here, and no job stops me from signing up for classes either at TCC or the yoga place down the street.
However, I did find an LJ community that has a lot of advice from “real people” and picking and choosing from their experiences and sharing my own is a good idea.
So, Continuing on from last year:
Weight (Today): 150.2
Exercise (Yesterday): None
Diet (Yesterday): Tea w/ milk&sugar, cheese quesadilla with ranch, orange chicken, 2 crab rangoons, 1 spring roll, 12oz can Orange Soda
(yesterday was a very bad day)
