be courageous

The Courage of my convictions, the courage to face up to my failures and fears, the courage to see and speak the truth, the courage to look at what is painful and makes me want to turn away, the courage to help others through their own darkness. The Courage to always remain hopeful.

Sometimes I take longer than other times to pick myself back up after falling off the proverbial horse. I too willingly accept defeat in the face of challenge for fear of continually failing at the things I set out to do.

Like Dora from Finding Nemo I must remember to “Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.” As long as I can say “I’ve done my best” then I can hold my head high and walk with confidence.

I know I said a goal should be stated in the positive form and what I want to change/do not what I want to stop doing but I am trying to find the right words to reframe this goal. So if someone has an alternative I’ll use it instead.

Since I have all these goals on 43things I figure this is a good one to add. It is too easy to let one slip or falter make you give up on yourself, or give into your weaknesses
