take more pictures of my kids

And I love them and loved watching her play. I have a great camera now for taking nice pictures so I am trying to find more opportunities and pay more attention to those moments you just want to capture. One of those moments was captured on video and featured my 2 year old dancing around in her birthday suit with a Santa hat pulled all the way down to her chin. I wonder how my daughter would feel if I played this back on her wedding day?!

But I did take a few pictures recently, if I just manage to take a few pictures every couple of weeks that would be an improvement. I am kicking myself hard for missing a couple of months of picture taking opportunities with my son who I don’t even recognize from that scrawny little infant he was when he was first born. I am going to put the Camera in a place where I will always see it and stop waiting for the “perfect” picture and just snap away, it’s not like I have to save on film!

I didn’t take any pictures today but my nephew had my camera in hand through much of his visit, snapping off countless pictures of various objects and us and our kids. For a little lad of only nearly 4 he has some skill! And is by far a better photographer than my husband, who frankly is hopeless!
