I used to have this big blue fuzzy coat with googly eyes on the hood. I LOVED my cookie monster coat, I’ve never given up hope finding one again, so much Nostalgia attached to that coat. I know my Mommy deeply regrets getting rid of it so I “try” not to mention it “TOO” often. And every once in awhile I check Ebay, and it’s never there…One day while strolling the mall with my Sis she spotted a cute little backpack of just Cookie Monster’s Head and a Grouch one. So I got Cookie Monster and she got a Grouch. So many great characters, so many wonderful memories. I love that I am getting to relive some of childhood through my children right now.

I have been meaning for awhile now to add an entry about my love for Sesame Street and now I have this perfect goal to talk about why it is such a great show and reminisce. As I was searching for images for my rotating Avatar I found those beloved characters I remember so well….even if I had TEMPORARILY forgotten them. Stumbling across their images I was transported back to my childhood and now I want to bring them back, or at least see old episodes again. I loved Guy Smiley, bring back Guy Smiley, I loved his energy the way he came so unglued!! I will be back again to post more about why this show is so awesome, until then I am going to bed, don’t want to sleep in and miss the show! (Just kidding, my toddler wouldn’t dream of letting me do THAT!)
QuestionReading through the entries is there some unwritten rule about chosing your one favorite character and running with that one for the week! Now I have always been one to follow the “rules” being too timid to think of stepping out of line. But to chose just one, well that’s just not possible, so I am going to step outside of this invisible boundary, so watch closely as my avatar rotates.
