I am greatly happy about our carless experiment. I like that I have learned to use public transportation and that I am learning to take my bike places that I can… but sometimes you just need a car. This summer we did zero camping and hiking which is just sad… and there are times that it is certainly more convenient to have your own vehicle.
I am really interested in getting something that’s not a total gas guzzler and something that won’t die in the next 3 months…. This is going to be a bigger goal than I thought.
The first step is to create a budget. We are going to work on our credit too so we can get something half way decent (which likely will mean car payments….) It’s a start though. We can do it :)
