My husband and I would like to live more simply, get some land, and homeschool our son…. in a yurt. Very hippie-esque…. But it is also important to us to find ways to live as a family that is not only affordable (other than being homeless!!!)that can teach a lifestyle of helping mankind and the environment. I find though most places don’t allow yurts for living in permanently. They can’t be taxed in most areas we found, and the government doesn’t seem to like that….
Does anyone know where they are legal?
Then again, I guess we could buy like 10 acres and build it among some trees. :) Shhhh don’t tell. But maybe that would be a little too far out there…. our son does need some socialization…... hmmmmm…..
any thoughts?
