I had knee surgery last Oct. They said I wouldn’t be ready to hike or camp for at least 6 months. I proved them wrong! We (my husband, son, and I) went on 1/1/06 and welcomed the new year from our tent @ Anza Borrego (southern desert in San Diego, Ca area). We have been camping a few times since…. but it’s been cold. Yay!
It’s a great way to get out with my family, and unplug my boys from the video games!
