I’ve been having health issues off and on. I tried walking 1/2 a mile about 2 weeks ago and I have been sick ever since. They say take it easy when you start and I thought that was EASY! It’s a lesson to myself that I should have started this long ago before I got sick in the first place because now I have more barriers in front of me to make it more difficult to stick to this goal. I also have more to strive for. I know that losing this weight is going to make it easier on my body and that is what it needs right now.
The question I have anytime I start a new goal though is,
“What does this goal mean to me?” A lot of times I will put an ambiguous goal out there – that has no clear defined limits. For me this goal means that I need to get to a point where I can do at least 1 hour of exercise 5 days a week. I don’t know how long that is going to take… and it’s ok. It’s definitely time to start.
