List 100 things I love about my husband.

Many times he just looks at me and smiles for no reason. It makes me feel loved & special.

This week he put in shelves for me so I could organize the bathroom and now he’s working on putting up curtain rods in the living room.

Last night he took me to a new place that he knew I’d like (I did) and he enjoyed the fact that I would like it.

We just went to play tennis and everytime I got a good shot he complimented me. When I didn’t do well, he just didn’t say anything, which was nice.

When my husband goes away, he usually leaves me a note or two for me to read when he’s not there.
He leaves them for the kids too.

For our 10th anniversary he took me to the Vienna Waltz Ball, a charity ball for MS at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia. They used to have this ball every year and some people would come dressed up in period costumes (1860’s time of th eStrauss waltz’s) so he insisted we rent costumes. I felt like a princess!

Growing up my husbands idea of interacting with a cat was tormenting it. When we first got married (MANY years ago :)) I said I wanted to get a cat. He probably wasn’t even seriously considering it until he read a list of ways to relax and one of them was to lie down on the floor with a kitten on your chest. So he surprised me and got me a kitten for Christmas! 24 years and 3 cats later, he’s such a softie with the cats you’d never know his secret background (and I will never let that cat out of the bag for the sake of Macy & Tibouki.)

He listens to my suggestions about what he’s working on and seems to appreciate it. He also helps me figure out stuff about my job.

He always buys me phone cards (we use prepaid phones down here) and asks me about every other day “do you need phone cards?”—way more often than I actually need them. Just another thoughtful thing he does.

Even though he was in charge of a training session from Dec. 28th- Jan. 3rd, he made a big effort to do Christmas stuff with the family.
