go out on "date nights" with my spouse on a regular basis

because usually once a week, we get away for dinner or a drink….and when the boys start going to Sunday morning PSR, we’ll probably do breakfast….

but, we do need to take more alone vacations, and that will be coming up in the next couple of years when I can leave my daughter home alone (or maybe not)....

So…I’m calling this one done…and maybe refining it to say take adult vacations.

but he’s going to come home early and we’re going to try an easy geocache with the kids later on….

Then maybe we should take the kids to see Narnia since they have been asking (I was waiting for the two boys to finish the book, since that’s my rule, but they seem to be stalled)....

but we went to finish some Christmas shopping for the kids this year…and we had lunch together at Bread Co. Since I’m going to be in Chicago for Thursday and Friday, I think I’ll see if he wants to go to lunch tomorrow.

I took the entire family out to breakfast after Mass today…

But we have to Xmas shop for the kids….so we might do a late lunch later together….

That will be nice.

had to dash in to get some coffee because they were closing at 10 and it was raining hard.

So even if it wasn’t a long date, at least it was something….plus we went to work out together before dinner.

Barnes and Noble game night, but there is a Boy Scout night hike, so we’ll have to find something else to do.

I’d like him to take me to see Wicked, but I bet he’ll be a cheapskate. I figure he owes me this, because when we go out to eat on Fridays, I pay the whole time.

Haven’t done it in a while because of kids’ stuff, but plan on maybe getting together Friday.

Friday night was volleyball with Teen DD, while boys went to Vianney Football game with Grandpa.

Tonight was eat out as family…..

But we watched a movie in bed last night….and went to a wedding reception last night….so that kinda counts.

Uno’s – except I was mad at him….

Saturday, we went out to Cheap Dick’s – our usual hangout because we didn’t go last week.

We need something else to do – I’m bored…..

to celebrate my good evaluation. We frequent a corner bar called Poor Richards – or we affectionately coin it – Cheap Dick’s.
