I got my remaining wisdom teeth out. I also got the big initial appt done for the periodontal disease. There is still a question of whether or not I still need the gum surgery. My dentist says it’s looking great and he would never guess I have it if he didn’t know!

I just wrote an entry but it didn’t take. I don’t want to write it all again! I have an appointment next week for some extractions and found a dentist to do my quarterly maintenance work, saving me about $600/year! The big surgery is still waiting on my insurance company.
I’m still waiting on the insurance for my periodontal surgery. They don’t have a provider in their network who does it. This has been going on since February. I’m very frustrated. Anyway, I have my remaining wisdom teeth coming out next week and I found a dentist that takes my insurance who can do my quarterly appointments. This will save me about $600/year!
I decided to switch providers so I can be sedated for my procedures after realizing I am never going to be able to endure it otherwise. This sets me back a bit schedule-wise, but I think it will work better. My regular dentist thinks I may lose at least one tooth based on some recent discomfort. I’m still working with my insurance about the actual surgeries that I need after the initial procedure. If that falls through, I’m in trouble. If you are in need of dental work, please do it. You don’t want to let it go as long as I have.
