I feel like I have this down now. I am exercising daily, every chance I get, and eating mostly good, nutritious foods. I still have my days where I drink a margertia and eat an ice cream sandwich (ahem – like last night!), but then I know to jump on my bike and get a little exercise. I am down 28 pounds since January. I feel fantastic. I intend to make these habits life-long.

I lost five pounds at the Biggest Loser weigh-in at work today! Yippee! Today was the last day, and I am down 23.4 pounds since the contest started on January 9th. I won’t be the winner, but I still feel like one! This has been so successful, the company is extending this to a Phase II. We will only weigh in once a month, but anyone who loses more or maintains their losses will be eligible for a prize. I like weighing in to the nurse. Keeps me more accountable than if I were just weighing in at home.

I lost my way for a while, but I am back! I had a 3 am freak-out about my weight…ohh…like a week ago, and I’ve been doing well again ever since. I didn’t gain any during my hiatus, but I was starting to eat crappy again. I kept on exercising so I guess that was good. I don’t weigh in again for Biggest Loser at work until Monday May whatever (first Monday of May), but my (unreliable) scale says I am down five pounds -and I have weighed myself in different spots on the floor over the last couple of days so I think it might actually be true! Been doing tons of yardwork and gardening so I am getting my upper-body workout. Been walking or hiking trails daily for my aerobic.

and I’m scared! Unfortunately, I don’t think it will be too good this time around. I’ll be happy if I stayed at the same weight. We went to Chicago last weekend, and it has been a steady decline for me ever since. I am back on track effective tomorrow. I have an immediate goal of losing five pounds by April 15th. I want to get things going again! Plus, summer is coming up – ack! I have been faithfully exercising every day though – and I’m drinking my water, so not all hope is lost on me. Considering I had two parties and a wedding this weekend, as well as a boat load of school work before spring break, I am happy with it. I’m trying to kick things up beginning this week and adding an additional 1/2 hour of exercise to my days. Also, the past few weeks, I have been indulging in one Diet Pepsi in the afternoon. I am going back to straight water.

Well, I had only lost 1.2 pounds at my last “Biggest Loser” weigh-in (this past Monday), but considering I was sick and couldn’t exercise for four days, and then I had my little junk food binge (i.e. “I can’t stop eating” post), I am okay with that. I have been mostly on track again. I should probably get a little more intense with the exercise now, but I have been so busy. I switched from evening to online classes, and I cannot believe how much of my time those online classes take! One of my classes is Federal Taxes and right now I’m studying tax law…so you can imagine, it is no fun trying to teach that to yourself. On that note, I’ve got to go work on it. Gah! I forgot, I have to go to a baby shower and to my Mom’s house for her birthday later this afternoon and evening. Will….try…to…resist….CAKE.

I have to weigh-in tomorrow for Biggest Loser. Between being ill and unable to exercise most of the week, and my binge today, I have a feeling I will be the same weight at best. Oh well, I’ll be back tomorrow with the news.
I don’t have a lot to report, but I am still here and still plugging away! I went rollerskating with my son and niece again yesterday; that is a really fun way to get a workout. If I keep at it, I am going to buy myself a pair of skates. The roller rink skates really aren’t very padded or comfortable. I should try inline-skating, but I’m a little nervous about it. Has anyone else done it? Is it more difficult? We bought my son a pair of rollerblades at a thrift store for five bucks yesterday, and it took him all of five minutes to figure them out. He’s closer to the ground and more fearless than I though! ;-)

I am down another 4.4 lbs for a total of 15.6 in the past six weeks! Hell yeah! I am thrilled. And I can get myself those new earrings! DH joked we will be so broke after I buy all of my rewards, we won’t have money to eat. I am not going crazy with it though. I bought a $25 purse, and I’ll probably get a pair of $15 or so silver earrings. But my next reward for reaching 20 lbs lost will be a pedicure. I’ve never had one, and I’ve heard they are divine!

I’m doing really well…except weekends. I don’t overeat, but we eat out too much. I took my son and niece rollerskating last night. We had a blast! I haven’t been in eons. We skated probably a good 2 hours and 15 minutes of the 2.5 hour skating session. Then we went out to eat at Village Inn though and I got a “skillet” and pancakes. I did get a garden skillet with veggies and cheese, multi-grain pancakes, and sugar-free syrup but it probably still had a ton of calories. I am weighing in for “Biggest Loser” at work tomorrow, so I will post about that tomorrow. I bought my new purse (it’s awesome). I decided my next reward will be new earrings when I reach the 15 lbs lost mark.
