Learn to speak and write Japanese fluently

I love Japanese culture and would love to learn to speak Japanese fluently one day. Unfortunately, I’m broke so can’t afford to be taught professionally. I’ve gotten hold of the DS game My Japanese Coach – sadly it’s hard to find now as they stopped making it – but it introduces the language bit by bit and includes mini games that help me memorise new words. I’ve also found ispeakjapanese.net and easyjapanese.org to be very helpful. I can now speak some basic sentences and can write hiragana and katakana (with plenty of time) but I’ve still got a long way to go.
