Become a better programmer

I hit a bad point over summer where I got stuck on something I was working on and lost all motivation but now I’ve found some really good video tutorials that have been quite helpful and I’m (slowly) regaining the motivation to do something useful.

Well, I did a bit on Java Mobile for an assignment but I didn’t do as much as I could have because of time constraints. I’m doing some more C++ for my final project and trying to remember what little I did on VB (because some of the stuff for my project is in VB) but at the moment, I think C++ is my prefered language. I’m just so bad at remembering it!

I’m in my second year of a Games Computing degree course and I really enjoy programming (when it goes right) and I think I’ve just about got the basics of C++. Unfortunately, I just can’t seem to get the hang of OpenGL so I really need to practice over the summer as in my last year, I’ll need to do quite a lot of programming for my final project. Sometimes, I lack the motivation to do it though. :/
