Start my own business

i got the job at the fabric store, worked 2 weeks then left for tucson. most i learned about was fleece and sku numbers. well and how to cut fur fabrics. Back in Oklahoma where i think i belong. Working on getting a job with benefits. Any interesting career training will have to wait. i need health insurance!

I applied for a job at a fabric store in hopes that i can learn a bit more about fabric and sewing. Course any job right now would be a good thing.

Thoughts about moving to Tucson are on my shoulders. They have a good school there with what looks like a good fashion program for me. I wouldn’t just be going for the school, i’d also be going to be with boyfriend. The school is a big bonus. But a friend has brought up the idea of finding a school in San Jose. Which im not head over heels about. But maybe i should look just incase i don’t go to Tucson as soon as i thought.

Yeah i’ll do this now. And i’ll eat some yummy yaki soba.

I want to be a tailor. I have a little sewing machine from Walgreens that i plan on using to make little accessories out of. The idea is to get good enough at sewing so i can get a job somewhere that involves sewing. Something that will help me get better.

In the process i will be able to sell my little creations or save them to sell in the future when i have my own business.

But i wonder. Can i sell something if i used material from another product. Like say i have a shirt that has the name of a country on it. But it looks artsy like someone designed it. Can i still use it because its the name of a country?
