live my life on my own terms, not trying to live up to the expectations of others

For some time i have been doing what i want, when i want,with out worring that i am called Nuts,crazy twisted or psycho . I’m coming up on my 145th year, Its done, I do live on my own terms.

I did what i was suppose to! i set a good example for my boys,raised them.Didn’t do anything for myself,lived for my family. then BAM! It was like a light going on.what was i thinking! life is too short to be to serious! so now i work at a job i love and get paid doing it.Go to Music clubs when i want. road trip by myself,etc.. My mr> use to say where are you going,I’d invite him along and he would decline, so i went by my self. now he says have a good time… why was i not doing this sooner, i missed so much live music so mant adventures so many people?.I changed my attitude and my life change right along with it.Why was i stuck doing the done thing instead of what i wanted…... because i was not prepared to accept rejection from friends and family…. guess what i learned … they will still love you. they may call you crazy or bent,even twisted ,but i’m the one creating memories while they SIT and wonder!
